I was so honored to learn that one of my favorite authors, Ken Liu, picked United States of Japan as one of the best books of 2016 at the incredible The FADER! His writing has been a powerful influence on me, and his Wall of Storms is not just one of my favorite books of the year, but a novel I know will become a classic (read Wall, Grace of Kings, and Paper Menagerie ASAP if you haven’t already!). I’m deeply honored by his choice and his kind words! Thank you very very much Ken!!!

“United States of Japan is a brilliant, searing meditation on the weight of history and the moral responsibility of the individual living in a system founded on intolerable crimes against humanity.”

Check out Ken and many other awesome choices from last year!
