Just wanted to give a heartfelt thanks to everyone who shared, supported, and even picked up copies of USJ yesterday (or even just bore my various social media posts, ha ha). I was so honored to find USJ next to the book that inspired me. As some of you may know, United States of Japan began as a murder mystery shortly after WWII set in China. But when I re-read High Castle and found out PKD wanted to do a sequel and couldn’t, that’s when I changed gears and USJ was born. While USJ has lots of action, violence, and weird happenings, underneath it all, it focuses on many of the issues I’d long wanted to tackle in the Pacific Front. It’s a huge honor to get this chance and to know people are buying it. Hope you’re all enjoying the 4th of July weekend!
