United States of Japan Makes Lit Reactor’s 8 Most Anticipated Books

storyville-master

I’m so grateful to Richard Thomas for including United States of Japan in his wonderful list at Lit Reactor. This is one of the coolest literary sites around and Richard is a very powerful writer. I’m honored to say the least. I am gratified by all these list inclusions, but have to admit, feel a little bit of fear- what if the book doesn’t live up to expectations? If it didn’t make all these lists and faded away, then at least no one would be disappointed. At the same time, I’d rather be worried about disappointing than being worried about it being completely ignored. It’s a good problem/worry to have and again, I’m grateful to everyone for the USJ love.

If you read Peter’s last book, Bald New World, which was nominated for several awards and appeared on many lists, then you know he’s an emerging author with a strong voice.
