Weird food day #3: Scorpions in BBQ with Shallot? (Xian, China)

Continuing my pictures of weird foods is Scorpions in BBQ with Shallot. The “shallot (Allium cepa var. aggregatum, or the A. cepa Aggregatum Group) is a botanical variety of the species Allium cepa, to which the multiplier onion also belongs,” according to wiki. I don’t know how much a shallot would do to offset the hard texture of a scorpion though, ha ha.
